Ossobuco has a luxurious aurora to it. And when it came to the United States, at first, it was eaten by the upper class. But the truth is, Ossobuco originally was an ideal meal for a large family. Luckily, things have changed, and now anyone can enjoy Ossobuco in Boston. 

The History Of Ossobuco

Ossobuco is excellent for any occasion. Its history comes from Lombardy in the early 19th century, although it’s argued precisely when created. It wasn’t present in Italian cookbooks in the 19th century, yet people believe it’s been around since the 18th. Ossobuco started as an Italian version of American Comfort Food. It was usually made in winter to warm the households and provide a delicious meal for a family. Word soon spread of the dish, and it began to pop up all over Italy. 


There is a good chance that this dish is loved so much that it can be made in hundreds of different ways, with differences in spices, butter, oils, and sauces.
